Bohr's Atomic Model (1913)

4. The electron loses a definite quantity of energy called quantum of energy when it jumps down from an orbit of higher energy level to lower energy level. The energy is emitted in the form of radiation. The frequency of energy emitted is directly proportional to the difference in energy between the two levels.
